We are proud and happy to announce the signature of full scale and turnkey Carbon Capture and Liquefaction (CCL) project, for the Pontivy waste-to-energy plant in Brittany, France. The project, awarded by Paprec, will be executed in collaboration with our partner LAB.<\/p>\n

Brusche Process Technology is responsible for the design of the Carbon Capture plant with a robust and proven absorption\/desorption process, that will capture half of the CO2<\/sub> emissions of the new combustion line at the Pontivy site. In combination with the CO2<\/sub> Liquefier that we will also design and build, the captured CO2<\/sub> will be of food grade quality.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n CCU technology is crucial for reducing reliance on fossil carbon. It is internationally recognized as a solution to lowering net CO2<\/sub> emissions. Liquefaction is an essential part of CCU(S) solutions; the gaseous CO2<\/sub> is purified, condensed and compressed into a dense liquid. This step enables efficient storage, transportation and utilization in various industrial and chemical applications, in the food industry and as a fertilizer in greenhouse horticulture.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Paprec is France’s leader in recycling and one of Europe’s major players in waste management and green energy production. Our partner LAB is a leading European company, specialized in and turnkey supplier of flue gas treatment systems and condensation plants for the WtE sector.
